want to kiss?

i'm so grateful for good friends.
i'm so extremely blessed to have so many of them in my life.
how did i get this lucky?
it's something i will never know, but i feel so fortunate to have them.
i love you all with everything i have.
it's so nice to know that when hard times come along, there is so much love and kindness offered to me.
i love you.
thank you.

today was a good day.
i went through a stage of being lazy and unproductive.
i didn't contribute anything to society for a few hours.
that's okay, i needed it.
sometimes it's needed.
at five o'clock, i decided i needed to do something with my life.
i went to a pizza social with my friends.
we ate LOTS of pizza and had ice cream bars.
i took pictures, but they won't upload, so i'll post them soon.
i'm grateful for kevin and aj, and how much they've helped me here.
they are wonderful friends, wonderful people.

after the fun outing,
brynne, mady, calli, and i went back to their apartment to watch
BACHELOR PAD.
aparantely my feet smelled, and calli didn't like that.
sorry.

later, we went to the hot tub.
i only put my feet in, because i didn't feel like re-showering after.
i had just gotten ready a couple hours before.
we met a couple really cute boys.
too bad brynne, mady, and i are all in love with the same one.
shoot.

at midnight, we went to the "A" for
TRUE AGGIE NIGHT.

for those of you that aren't familiar with the tradition at utah state,
there are certain nights on a full-moon that you can become a "true aggie."
the rule is, you have to kiss another true aggie to become one, yourself.
you kiss one on top of the A at midnight, and then you are considered one!

so a bunch of us went and i was surprised at how many people were there.
it's a funny thing, really.
such a FUN tradition this school has.
there is music playing, and everyone just gathers around this A to watch everyone kiss.
for a full hour, it's just like a firework show.
everyone gathers and watches.
some people are SOOOOOO awkward,
some people made me feel like crying for them.
it's so weird watching so many different people kiss.
some people get really into it, and make out for a good amount of time.
some people barely touch lips.

quite the show.

so...yes i did become a "true aggie" under the full moon.
i kissed a boy man, james, a transfer student from alaska.
really cute, really sweet.
our kiss wasn't awkward.

so now i have the ability to help others become "true aggies."
it's a fun thing, huh?!

i think i'll use that power next time.

xoxo
