today was a fantastic, wonderful day.
it began with my first class of the morning being cancelled
(although i would have loved to know that in advance).
i went to math, and correctly demonstrated how to do
basic algebra
on the board in front of the class.
i seriously did almost ten problems for the class.
i'm really really really dumb when it comes to math,
but i feel extremely smart in this class i'm in.
maybe because it's
basic algebra.
shhhhhhhh.
after all my classes,
i went shopping with mady and JO!!!!!
i love that jo came with us, even though she hates shopping.
sorry jo, i know it wasn't your idea of fun,
but i loved you being there.
i got a couple cute tops on sale.
yayyyyy.
we shopped for quite some time,
and then i came home and took a night-time nap
before going out again.
these all-night things make me exhausted if i don't have enough sleep already.
at about eleven,
brynne, mady, nessa, and i went to a little get-together
with some fun people at their house.
it was a good time.
after leaving, we went to this guy's house and sat on his porch and listened to the rain
for a while.
very calm and quite relaxing.
we got back to our apartments and mady made brynne and i sandwiches.
they were DELICIOUS.
we had the fabulous idea to go hot tubbing at our pool.
it closes at eleven, but it was raining and hot tubbing sounded
SO NICE.
so we got in our suits and walked in the cold rain to the pool.
locked.
so we climbed over the pointy fence
(quite the task)
and enjoyed the rain from the hot tub at 3:00 am.
we went swimming
and laughed
and talked about life.
we had a lot of fun.
at 4, we decided to go on a walk around oakridge.
in our swimsuits.
barefoot.
in the cold.
we love college.
now it's almost five and we're supposedly going for crepes in the morning.
not a chance i'm going.
i'll be sound asleep in my sweats
in my bed
if you need me.
but don't bother coming if you need me,
i won't be waking up anytime soon.
i love this life i live.
i love everything about it.
xoxoxo
Q: what item are YOU most excited to wear this fall?
i can't wait to wear my Minnetonka boots.
