oh goodness.

where to begin....

today i went to a disney meeting with brynne.

we're going to be disney characters in disneyworld.

not even kidding.

i have big aspirations.

I WILL:

-go on a study abroad

-do a humanitarian trip

-work in disneyland/disneyworld.

that was a fun meeting.

it's serious business.

people are like.......serious about this disney crap.

we thought it would be this easy thing.

it's soooo competitive.

i'll keep you posted.

we have auditions in a week.......

anyways.

we were going to go swing dancing tonight.

aubree, mady, brynne, and i got all ready

(well...i take that back. i didn't really get ready. i woke up from a nap and had no choice but to wear my hair on top of my head).

cute, huh?

good thing we DIDN'T go swing dancing.

because it wasn't cute.

we went to the hot tub instead.

in the rain.

annnnnnd then we had a pretty crazy night.

we'll leave it there.

after things mellowed out,

mady and i were awkward and bored with the people we were with.

not my fault it's like four in the morning and you're being annoying.

i'll have my own fun.

we even have the footage/pictures to portray this to you.

i'm kind of funny.

i'm good at making people feel uncomfortable.

sometimes,

i'm good at being obnoxious.

and i'm ALWAYS

good at being the third wheel.

i really like all my friends.

i know i talk about it all the time on here,

but i'm just ever so grateful for the people in my life.

it amazes me how people can be so loving.

i have WONDERFUL friends here in logan.

how lucky am i to have come up to this town completely by myself,

and have met so many incredible people?

people that genuinely care.

today

i'm grateful for kevin who pays for my dinner, even if i didn't want him to.

i'm grateful for AJ who cleans up after me, and is always looking out for me, and listens to me talk about my day.

i'm grateful for brynne who just is wonderful, and laughs with me, and let's me snuggle in her bed at night.

i'm grateful for mady who makes me smile all the time, who sends me funny texts, and who i just want to just smother in hugs right now.

i'm grateful for callie who says the funniest things and listens to me talk about boys with nice arms.

i'm also grateful for all my friends who aren't in logan with me.

they sent me the most thoughtful package.

i had the biggest smile on my face when i saw it sitting on my counter.

they sent me a t-shirt and a beautiful ring.

for those of you who aren't aware: rings are my favorite.

they sent me the sweetest card, and it just made me so happy.

sarah and courtney are wonderful people.

i love skyping with them, and getting texts from them in random hours of the night.

i love you both.

i don't understand why i am so blessed,

but i'm so grateful that i am.

my life is wonderful.

rain rain, don't go away.

i really like the rain.

i like it a lot.

i was SOOO excited to hear the rain dripping outside brynne's window

that's my favorite sound to wake up to.

i love the smell of the rain.

and the feeling it brings.

i love how everyone's mood changes when there are dark clouds in the sky,
becoming more relaxed and laid-back.
i love how everyone decides to wear a sweatshirt to school, and out-and-about.
and it's not sloppy or grungy, but adorable.

i love having to put the windshield wipers on in the car.
and i like being just cold enough to want to wrap up in a blanket.
i like listening to rainy day music.

i'm currently in my bed.

listening to my favorite songs on repeat.

i have issues with music.

i find a song i like, and then i just listen to it on repeat for days at a time,

until i find one i like better.
i love it, but most people find it incredibly annoying.

i say to them: you're no fun.

this is my song today.

it's been one of my favorites for a while.

but it's my FAVORite today.

goodness, gracious

this was a fun day.

i went with nessa, mady, brynne, and leah (new friend, love her)

to float the canal that we went to with the boys a few weeks ago.

we didn't know where we were going,

but we thought we'd remember.

it's quite the drive to idaho,

and we were LOST.

so lost.

we drove around FOREVER.

looking at shrubs,

seeing snakes,

chilling on the railroad tracks until we almost died.

finally, we called AJ

he knows everything

and told us how to get there.

don't worry, just a two hour delay.

we finally arrived, and let me tell you...this is such a fun thing to do.

the water is freezing.

it carries you over the road and through trees.

soooo fun.

we were pretty cold.

we even shot some video footage :)

we had a wonderful time.

after warming up,

we went to the greatest chocolate shop

(one bonus about the logan mall)

and got a couple delectable chocolates

the girl working wanted to strangle us,

we were so indecisive and stayed forever.

oh well.

and then of course, we went to wendy's.

we're really healthy sometimes.

we were literally starving.

we all got huge meals.

and loved them.

after,

brynne, mady, and i went to the hot tub.

it started pouring.

and we even sat through some lightning without being electrocuted.

don't worry, we got out shortly after.

my phone crashed.

completely.

stopped functioning FOR GOOD.

so i had to buy a new one.

bittersweet moment.

sweet: i finally upgraded. i'm not one for having a fancy phone.

bitter: i had to drop a large sum of money, when i don't have money to drop.

but i have a phone again.

i went through the day without one.

AJ and kevin came over and brought us fancy italian ice drinks.

they're truly the nicest.

always looking out for us.

and then they taught us how to play poker.

i'm HORRIBLE.

 so horrible, i don't even want to talk about it.

i really don't.

oh and my toenail ripped off.

completely ripped.

i think that's all my ramblings for today.

this weekend was so nice.

it was so great to spend time with my family.

i had a lovely time.

it's nice to be back here, too.

it's nice to be in my own bed.

it's nice to see nessa and brynne and mady and aj and ben and kevin

and smell all the detergent coming from the laundry room
and hear all the random strangers say "hi" as they walk past me
and sit on my favorite love sac in 16B
and have kevin wait on me and make me drinks.
and it's nice to look at my messy room, and not even feel obligated to clean it

and

drink my orange juice straight from the carton.
and.......

it's just nice.

to my fam: i just love you so much. i just love being with you guys. thanks for letting me spend the weekend with you.

oh. it was the coolest thing to see a never-ending line of cars behind us as we drove up sardine canyon.

this was quite the popular weekend to leave logan.

i had a smile on my face as i looked behind me the whole way.

how cool is it to see that many people coming back to their "home."

today i went on an outing with my mom.

we had a nice time

i really love her a lot.

we stopped by and said hello to my aunt candice

and my cuteeeeee little cousins.

then we went and spent $12 on frozen yogurt.

my mother was not too happy about that.

sabrina and i went shopping

which i LOVED

because the mall in logan = blahhhhhh

we had a good time.

and then tonight

i went to sarah's apartment and just chilled.

it was so nice to see her

and tell stories face to face.

on my way home i saw

IN-N-OUT

which blew my mind.

i didn't realize it was up and running!

so i went through the drive-through

and sat in the long line by myself.

and LOVED my burger.

today was a good day.

i'm really good at surprises.

i surprised my family by visiting them for the weekend.

they had NO idea i was coming.

and i've been trying so hard not to give myself away this past week.

i was successful.

i hitched a ride down the canyon from brooklin's roommate

thank you, thank you.

fell asleep in the car and woke up with a kink in my kneck.

i knew my family would be at brighton's football game,

because my brother was playing tonight.

so brooklin and i showed up.

i was planning on finding my family, and just going and sitting next to them.

but i got there and didn't have any money to get in.

who charges five bucks for a high school football game??

i guess i never realized people actually paid to go to the games.

so i called my dad

and explained that i needed money.

he said FOR WHAT?

and i told him that i needed to get into the football game.

he was so confused,

but finally i told him that i was there.

he was excited.

i found my sister talking to her friends and walked up to her and said hi.

she was in shock and just covered her mouth.

it was the absolute cutest thing ever.

i love my sissy.

we just hugged.

he was just like...wait why are you here?

mom was at home.

but i was excited to see her.

i left the game early to drive home

and say hi to her.

i think she was happy.

it's fun to be home.

bradley came home later,

and he was pretty shocked to see me.

love them all.

now i'm sleeping in what i consider the

"guest room."

sabrina took over my room.
