will there be cake?

yoplait has yogurts that are dessert flavored!!!
i stocked up on them at the store, because it's a healthy alternative to cake.

i froze them, and was so excited to have my first one.

tastes JUST like.....yogurt. not dessert.
just like yogurt.

i'm really upset about it.

on my knees.

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."
— Gordon B. Hinckley

show me the scottsman....

today was extremely fun.
i love the weekend.

i didn't go to bed until close to five am last night.
so i rolled over this "morning" at one in the afternoon.

looking pretty rough.

my neighbor, kylee was ringing my doorbell.
thankfully, or i probably would have slept the whole day away.

we hung out for a bit and hung up her new curtains.
pretty fun stuff.

later i went with brooklin to look for the local farmer's market.
we drove around for a good hour.
nothing.

so we settled for walmart.
i got the greatest food.
i love grocery shopping for what I want, and what i know i'll eat.
it's fun finding the best deals.
i'm turning into my mother.

right when i got back home I went to the football game with marianne, christina, and torri.
the stadium is right by my apartment complex, so we just walked right over.

being the little freshmen that we are,
we went to the wrong side of the stadium and found out we had to walk all the way around.

i saw a ma driving by on a golf cart and asked if he'd give us a ride.
he accepted..what a gentleman.

here's some of our fun shots.

we were moving two miles an hour...maybe.
apparantely freshmen fifteen has arrived.
we'll work on that.

the football games here are kind of a big deal

we got there over an hour early, and still had trouble finding a seat.

it was a great game!
we crushed weber state and even saw a cheerleader dropped on her head
(during a routine. not pretty).
she was fine.
weird watching other people cheer.

after the game,
marianne, mady, and I went to the Toga Party.
it's a dance party put on by a fraternity house and you have to wear a toga to be let in.

we threw something together pretty quickly.

go bed sheets.

i had a good time.

you move, you have no brow

this day was crazy fun!!!!!
great way to start off the weekend.

went to the mall with marianne.
we got our eyebrows threaded.
weirdest thing of my life.
seriously.

i couldn't stop laughing,
the girl kept saying in a hard accent:
"you move, you have no brow."
she said it over and over again, making me laugh even harder.
"it nootte me fault if i take out all your hairs. stop moving."

i'm pleased to say she did a wonderful job, and i still have both my eyebrows.

we then saw a playplace in the center of the mall.
we couldn't resist playing on life-size food items.

don't even worry that we played in the diet coke for a good twenty minutes.
the grouchy people on the couch LOVED us.
like seriously,
don't hang out in the fun zone if you're grumpy.
no one likes you.

as if we weren't having enough fun, we found a hurricane simulator.
for $2, you can be in the middle of a hurricane for thirty seconds.
welllllllll count us in.
who comes up with this stuff???
i laughed the entire time.
it was this huge gust of wind shot out from everywhere as you stand in a cylinder.
go try it.

next came the fraternity party.
it was a million degrees in the room filled with 5654850492854309 people dancing.
i had a blast.
getting freeeeaky.

ooooops. did i just say that??

i take it back.

sometimes my friends don't like to have as much fun as me, which i don't understand.
to my friends: stop being lame.
to brynne..i missed you tonight.

anyways.
i stayed there for a long time.
at about one thirty, we had a birthday party for
AUBREE!!!!!
 it's her birthday right now.
she's nineteen and we're celebrating for all 24 hours.
possibly 48.

we had virgin margaritas
don't worry, we don't party TOO hard hahahahaha

(i missed the kicking-off of this party. so sad)

and then at two, we went to subway.
how awesome is it that they stay open 24 hours here??!!!!!
perfect.

thanks to the timms/mcneals for the gift card.
without you, college would not be the same so far :)

i wore my birthday party hat, and everyone told me happy birthday.
i accepted graciously.

nothing's better than a sandwich at two in the morning when you're STARVING.

so then we took marianne back at three.
i was worried with her walking back to her place alone that late from the parking lot,
so luckily there was a bunch of guys walking around.
i asked them to walk her back to her place.

they were smashed. so drunk.

perfect escorts.

cheers to the weekend.
it's 3:40 am and i'm not even tired.
wahooooooo.

oh yeah....marianne made it back to her place safely.
we watched.
and laughed
as the sober girl was escorted by staggering guys to her place.

who wants to do my homework?!

studying in the library with a group of people:
doesn't work.

i'm learning some great lessons every day.

i wish i could have the motivation to get things done early.
i've never been one to buckle down and do my homework, so that i don't have to worry about it anymore.
i'm that person that constantly thinks about how much i have to do,
but i do other things instead.

i've always been that way.
and it has always annoyed me.

i'll do everything BUT homework.
and i'll keep thinking to myself,
"jas, you have so much to do. go home. go get it done. get off facebook. stop texting. hanging out isn't that important."

so here i am, at 11:37.
homework not done.
blogging.

i always get it done, but i stay up forever.

anyways....i might as well just tell you about my night.

i hung out with marianne, kami, torri, and these HILARIOUS guys
kellen and trevor.

i was laughing so hard all night.
they're great.
we went to the library to "study."
right.

got hungry.
decided to go to "Angies,"
a fun restaurant on main street.

it was there that I realized i'm considered a "local."
the slogan on the wall is "where the locals eat."
i'm a local in this town.

i had some yummy french toast.
i love breakfast at any time.
especially for dinner.

i also tried some of kellen's deep fried mushroms.
they looked like meatballs.
tasted like...chicken.
haha

i finished my anthropology homework as i was writing this.
now i just have to do my math.
mmmmmmmm
i love math.

i hatemath.

ATTENTION EVERYONE

i thought i'd make an announcement.
for those of you that know me....i'm assuming everyone reading this blog....you know that i pick my fingers/bite my nails.

well i thought i'd inform you that i don't anymore! i've been trying to break this gross habit for YEARS. literally, years.  i didn't even realize i had stopped until recently while looking at my hands.
 i have completely stopped.

isn't that neat?!

it is really neat.

if anyone wants to come over for boiled red potatoes and steamed carrots...please do.
i made way too much.

xoxox.
